**Special Election

On May 10th, Senate District 4 (Chambers, Galveston (1%), Harris (3%), Jefferson, and Montgomery (86%) counties) will go to the polls to decide on a state senator to complete the term in office for retiring Senator Tommy Williams (R).   The candidates for this election include the following, those with a legislative track record are rated based on their record vote in addition to their returned candidate questionnaire shared between NRA and TSRA.  The candidate rated AQ is rated solely on the returned questionnaire.  All candidates listed below are considered to be "friendly" to the Second Amendment. TSRA PAC makes no endorsement for this Special Election.

Remember a candidate wins their party's primary when they receive 50% plus one votes.  

  The November General Election version of the TSRA Guide will be posted in late summer.

As the NRA state affiliate, TSRA-PAC does not score or make endorsements in federal races.  NRA has 10 federal lobbyists.  We look to the folks with "boots on the ground" to provide unbiased, factual, and up to date information on those running for the U.S. Senate or Congress. 

Thank your for your continued and generous donations to the TSRA PAC.   These funds are  used to elect and reelect pro-gun candidates in Texas.  Contributions and disbursements are reported to the Texas Ethics Commission and are not tax deductible.
